Fundraising
Friends of Marquez is the fundraising body that provides the money for class size reduction, enrichment programs, teaching assistants, equipment and supplies. Our fundraisers include the following:
- Circle of Giving – If everyone gave the $850 FOM spends per child each year no more fundraising would be needed! We fund raise in the 1st 100 days of school and ask every family to give what is right for them; from $10 to $10,000.
- Spring Auction – our second biggest earner and one of three options to market directly to parents
- Halloween Festival – A community event to remember
- Book Fair – Stock up for Xmas!
- Gift Wrap Sales- Stock up for Xmas!
- Read-a-thon – Perfect to encourage the kids to read over the holidays.
- Birthday Marquee
- Ralph’s & Vons Club Card
- Community Sponsors – one of three options to market directly to parents
- Year Of Parties
- Advertising in Annual Parent Directory – one of three options to market directly to parents.
