Overview

Marquez Charter Elementary is committed to providing a broad range of enrichment programs for its students, far-exceeding the offerings of a typical LAUSD school.  Made possible by Friends of Marquez’s tremendous fundraising efforts, our key programs include:

• Laptops in the Classroom
• Physical Education
• Arts & Music
• Library
• Edible Growing Garden

Afterschool Programs

Afterschool specialty programs, including Spanish, dance, drama, cooking and science are offered by STAR Education for reasonable fees.  STAR also provides childcare for before and after school for an additional fee.  During Winter, Spring and Summer breaks, STAR provides specialty camps.
