There are plenty of opportunities for you to make a difference in the school. Take a look at our organizational chart and you will see that all the positions are filled with volunteers. Contact Tobi Coughlin at (310) 230-0440 to get started.

Volunteer Opportunities

SCHOOL WIDE:

  • Marquez Directory (Manage project, sell ads, and/or update database)
  • Bulletin Board (Create monthly to reflect current activities)

EVENTS COORDINATORS:

  • Halloween Festival - October
  • Book Fair — Fall & Spring
  • Read-a-thon — Winter
  • Lunar Festival -January
  • Spring Auction — April
  • Walk-a-thon - May

GENERAL:

  • School Beautification Work Day - Fall
  • Science Fair - Spring

ON-GOING

  • Quiet Center (1 hour at lunch. Weekly or bi-weekly. Supervise crafts/games on yard.)
  • C.A.T.C.H. (Caring Adults Teach Children How) program. We need at least 40 volunteers at this time and want to begin pairing students with their mentors within a couple of weeks. Contact Helene Dameris
