 | Akiko Arevolo – ScienceMrs. Arevalo joined Marquez in 2007 as a Kindergarten teacher. From 2009, instead of teaching only one Kindergarten class, all of the Kindergarten children, 2nd and 4th grades now benefit from her focused science classes. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Arevalo worked as a production manager at a clothing manufacturing company for ten years before returning to school to pursue a career in teaching. She earned her B.A. and teaching credential at Cal State Northridge. She even did some of her training in 3rd Grade at Marquez! Mrs. Arevalo has two children of her own and has found motherhood to be an excellent resource for teaching. She truly enjoys working with the children of Marquez and their wonderfully helpful parents, and looks forward to seeing “her kids” learn and grow throughout their years at Marquez. |
